Refund Policy

14-Day Money-Back Guarantee

We offer a full refund within 14 days of your initial purchase, no questions asked. If MemoScript isn't right for you, we'll refund your payment in full.

1. Eligibility for Refunds

You are eligible for a full refund if:

  • You request a refund within 14 days of your initial subscription purchase
  • This is your first subscription to MemoScript
  • You have not previously received a refund for MemoScript

2. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund:

  1. Email us at support@memoscript.dev with the subject line "Refund Request"
  2. Include your account email address
  3. Optionally, let us know why MemoScript didn't meet your needs (this helps us improve)

We will process your refund within 5-10 business days. The refund will be credited to the original payment method.

3. Subscription Renewals

Subscription renewals are not eligible for refunds. If you no longer wish to use MemoScript, please cancel your subscription before the next billing date. You will continue to have access to premium features until the end of your current billing period.

4. How to Cancel Your Subscription

You can cancel your subscription at any time:

  • Log in to your MemoScript account
  • Go to Account Settings → Subscription
  • Click "Cancel Subscription"

After cancellation, you will retain access to premium features until the end of your current billing period. Your data will remain accessible, and you can export your decks at any time.

5. Plan Changes

If you upgrade from Pro to Premium, you will be charged the prorated difference for the remainder of your billing cycle. If you downgrade, the new rate will take effect at your next billing date. No partial refunds are provided for downgrades.

6. Payment Processing

All payments are processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record. Paddle handles billing, tax compliance, and refund processing on our behalf. Your financial information is never stored on our servers.

7. Exceptions

Refunds may be denied in cases of:

  • Violation of our Terms of Service
  • Fraudulent activity or abuse of the refund policy
  • Requests made after the 14-day refund window
